Single Servers Terms & Conditions
Please note this applys to game servers only.
In the context of this document 'server' means single game process.The minimum rental period is 1 calendar month and the rental fee is non-refundable. Your credit card will be billed when you make an online payment. When your server has been paid for in full, we will complete your order. Your rental period will not start until the day we give you access to your server.
Users are permitted to run one game process on their server. Vault5 will include the necessary files for the chosen games upon completion of an order. The user is responsible for ensuring that they have permission to use any mods or maps used on their server. The server may not be used for commercial purposes.
The server may not be named offensively, in a way that reflects a commercial organisation or to deliberatly antagonise.
Clans are allowed to alter the maxrate server setting upto 15,000 (where availiable). You may not exceed this limit. The default value your server will be installed with is 10,000.
Vault5 game servers may not be used to host files, downloads or any web content, this includes the uploading of any files, images or software not directly associated with the running of the game processes. Any such abuse of a server will result in service being suspended and the forfit of outstanding rental payments.
Vault5 have access to a local FTP site where updates and the like may be downloaded from at will. Vault5 will maintain this local site so that upon release all files are readily available.
Servers must conform to the Vault5 naming convention unless debranding has been arranged prior to starting the server. Your server will include our name and URL, aswell as your clan or chosen server name.
Clans will have one weeks notice before the end of their rental in which to re-new their contract before their server is reallocated. Hence you will have the option to keep your server without any interruption to service.
You may not increase the player limits on your server (this includes spectators) without the prior permission of Vault5 and payment of the difference in rental prices. We are unable to offer refunds to clans who wish to reduce player numbers for any reason.
